Since graduating from Robert Gordon University in Scotland in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, Sarah has worked extensively in the musculoskeletal field. After two years of both private practice and hospital work in Ireland and the UK, she departed for New Zealand, where she has continued to work with a wide range of sporting injuries and sports teams.
Through attending postgraduate courses on a continuing basis, Sarah is committed to monitoring developments in the evolution of physiotherapy techniques for the benefit of her patients, who will receive the most appropriate and up to date treatments. Her strategies will help to improve recovery time, maximise performance and minimise the risk of recurrence, when treating a wide range of sporting injuries.
Sarah has a special interest in manipulative therapy, muscle balance and biomechanics, and specialises in resolving complex issues that have previously been resilient to treatment. She enjoys applying her knowledge of rehabilitation in the elite setting to the everyday athlete and the weekend warrior.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys skydiving, running and most outdoor activities.
