Diana's Hatha Yoga focuses on stretchy flowing postures with keen attention to alignment and supported by breathing and mindfulness. Class is relaxed, with specific guidance of postures aimed at integrating the body, mind, and spiritual aspects of yoga practice. Diana is a nurturing and playful teacher who loves to teach. She studied for many years in NYC earned her yoga teaching certification in 2000. Her career in modern and improvisational dance along with her study of Buddhist meditation has greatly influenced her yoga practice and teaching. She holds a Master's Degree in acupuncture and is a certified Zero Balancer. She believes the benefits of yoga are accessible to everyone and encourages her students to practice yoga with acceptance, joy, and compassion.
