WHAT IS Ki Max?
KI means energy and MAX is short for Maximum, so this class is all about Maximum Energy! This amazing program, created by Radical Fitness, utilizes free standing boxing bags and simple but dynamic boxing and kickboxing techniques and combinations, and will have you throwing punches, knees, elbows and kicks like a pro in no time!
KI MAX requires absolutely NO coordination!. The encouragement and coaching from the instructor combined with a backdrop of pumping music will keep you energised and motivated right to the end of the class! Your mind and body will reap the benefits of the cardio blast and fat melting, stress busting session that KI MAX gives.
New music and options for new combinations are released 4 times per year, keeping your KI MAX workouts fresh and exciting.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
CLASS TIMES. Class times can be found on our Group Fitness timetable in the foyer, on printed copies at reception, or on our web site.
WHERE TO GO? Group Exercise Studio
WHAT TO WEAR? Wear comfortable workout gear that allows you to move easily, and comfortable workout shoes. Boxing gloves are provided. however it is recommended that you bring your own if you attend Ki Max regularly.
WHAT TO BRING? A sweat towel and a drink bottle
HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE? KI MAX will help you get fitter! If you ae not very fitn then pace yourself through the class. After a few weeks of doing KI MAX your fitness will increase and in no time you will be ‘fighting fit'!
HOW COORDINATED DO I NEED TO BE? NO coordination required! The moves are NOT choreographed to music, you punch and kick to your own rhythm.
