Throughout my childhood I led an active life, with my major sport being canoe polo. I played this for 8 years including representing Hawkes Bay and Central Regions teams.
When I finished high school I gained a large sum of weight. Through this experience I became interested in fitness and nutrition and worked hard to lose this weight and restore my health. As the weight started to fall off I became more motivated and grew a passion for weightlifting.
Through making changes in my nutrition and fitness regime, I achieved my weight-loss goal and helped my friends and family make their own changes towards a healthy lifestyle. When the chance of becoming a fitness consultant arose, I grabbed it immediately. Now I can help people with their own weight-loss struggles, help them achieve their goals, and motivate and inspiring others to lead a healthy lifestyle.
